The duo first appeared together at the Boston Celtic Music Festival in 2023. Since then, they have transformed their musical friendship into a creative collaboration, recording an album that blends American Old-Time, Irish, and other folk traditions with original tunes. Their music weaves cello and fiddle lines into tightly arranged tunes, enriched by warm vocal harmonies.
Throughout the album, Kate’s fiddle, shruti box, and voice meet Brendan’s cello, guitars, and vocals in vibrant interplay. Special guest collaborators include Ethan Setiawan on mandolin, Nate Sabat on Bass, Nic Gareiss on foot percussion, Neil Pearlman on piano and Conor Hearn on guitar.
